Finally got motivated on the S10 again!

haven't been on the boards much lately. Work took over my life a couple years ago and i sort of lost interst/didn't have time for the truck. Got out of the marine repair industry and 2 jobs last fall. Finally got motivated the last few weeks and made some progress!

This was about a month ago. Dad's using it as a shelf. Wheres Waldo? lol



Sunday afternoon! 3.73 gears installed!



This was sunday night!



And this was monday afternoon. Didn't do much more than put the brake drums and wheels on but i did some house keeping.

looks bad ass how big of a drop is it?. Only thing i would change is the white letter tires, but it looks killer so far.

Its got air suspension. I can go as low or as high as i want to go! The white letters are showing cause those wheels and tires were on my old 3rd gen camaro painted white. I painted them black for this truck. Eventually it will get some fresh wheels. My origional intent was black C6 wheels. Still might do it.

Not sure where to go with the motor. I've got a good 4.3 i can put in it. I've got all the stuff i need for a V8 except a good short block. I kind of want to do something different. Turbo the 4.3 or go with a S/C 3.8 or something. Still got to finish the suspension and do the body drop so i've got some time to figure it out. hopefully I'll get some cruising time out of it next summer.

Its a real pain in the ass picking up whereI left off a couple years ago. i had all the parts for the rear axle at one point. When i put it together last weekend either parts were lost or i pulled them out of the box and they were rusty. 10 trips to oriellys later i had a built axle lol.
