Thought I would share a few pics of my project for the guys that like to play in the sand. Just got it rolling again this week and wanted to roll it out and see it in the sun yesterday. Motor just got wrapped up this weekend, Will be going back together soon and hompefully on the dyno at the end of the month

That blue looks good! What's the specs on the rest of the setup? We go to the sand every chance we get. I'm always in my Jeep at the strip at the dunes, but a good friend of mine used to take his YFZ 450 out a lot. That was parted out at the end of 2010 though. It was a sour green colored frame/white plastics setup.

Thanks, I'm real happy the way it is coming together. PLanning on being up at silver lake quite a few times again this year. Motor specs are Wr crank, Falicon knife rod, 13.5:1 Cp piston on a stock bore, MMAD standard valve size port, 42.5 FCR done by sredrum race carbs who will also be doing the tuning, dynatek programable ignition, FCI intake, and a shorty Dasa exhaust. Didn't get too carried away this winter as it will still be an all purpose quad this year while I build myself a trail quad out of my spare stock parts. next winter I want to go to a 480 with a 121 port job and 44mil carb.

Chris is a great guy, you can't go wrong with him. Though his burrito eating skills need to be honed!
Maybe we'll see you out on the strip this year.

When I'm at SL 90% of my time is spent on the strip haha. I'll keep an eye out for ya when I'm there. I think this is most likely gonna end up with a set of black plastics, if ya see me stop and say hey! Where do you guys usually stay up there?

Pretty sure he lives near there.

My parents actually have a place up there. It's about a 2 hour drive for us, but with them having a place there, it's easy to just go up for the weekend whenever we want!

That always makes it nice haha. No matter what way I take it is a 4 hour drive from Port Huron, There are a few guys from town that have a place up there they stay at alot but we have camped or stayed at the good ole Silver Sands depending on what time of year it is. Kinda makes it more of a pain having to book something everytime you head up. Someday hopefully I'll have a place up there love it up there.

Maybe I'll run into you at the dunes, but being that you have a bigger motor, I might need a length or two.

I think ill be the one needing the room from that drag banshee lol.

And as always thanks again Kyle for the great work and even better customer service!
