Ferndale Radiator

Has anyone had any dealings with them. I have 97 Dodge Van B2500 5.2V8 with AC. I need a heater core for it. The one that is in it is leaking. Ferndale radiator said they can fix it. No one has or can get them. The dealer wants $300+ for it. This is for an older women on a fixed income and she realy cant afford to pay 300. I was wondering if anyone has used ferndale radiator or know of a place that can fix it. Thanks for the help.

I talked to them today they said they couldnt do anything. Autozone has a part number but its special order and no picture so I cant see it. Advanced said they could get it I paid for it waited 3 days and it was the wrong one. I tried googling the part number but couldnt get a picture. PT # 99273.
I am trying to get this done over the weekend because come monday I have to work a double shift every day 6:30am to 11pm so I wont be able to touch it till next week.

Shit you guys supply us all our parts. (City of Detroit) The guy in my shop said you guys could not get it. But I didnt have a part number at the time.

sweet yeah I load the trucks back in the warehouse, i think city of Detroit is like 133 or something one of the morning deliveries. if we dont have it grand rapids DC or columbus DC should so it would come in monday

Yeah we get a couple deliveries a day. The first one is around 8-9 I think. I will be calling.
 
you try heatex yet? they primarly sell to shops, but they will sell retail, last i checked

After I called Napa this morning I shot out to ferndale radiator. Soon as I walked in the door the guy said we can fix it or we have new. I told him I would take the new one. He walked right in the back and came out with the correct one. $80. The guy said he still can make all the repairs that all the other radiator places stopped doing. So keep them in mind when you need radiator/heater core repair.

Sorry I did not see this earlier. We use them at our shop and they have killer deals and do good work!!!:thumbsup:
