kickin' tires. . . err, engines to see what's out there for a turn-key SBC to install in a '84 Monte Carlo. Carb-to-pan with accessories. Manifolds / headers not necessary. Must use pump gas and fit under the stock hood.

The car was equipped with a 350 prior to being removed. Previous owner sold the complete engine with ignition system.

I'm crunching numbers to weigh options / plans for the car.

I have a 305 from the TA, would need the electronic carb crap swapped to a normal carb, but I probably have a quadrajet and distributor in the pile next to it.

Interested?

I have a 95 LT1 sitting in my garage but it's not completely assembled at the moment, but easily could be. Have a water pump for it and I think an alternator, would still need to fins a couple accessories but would be easy to complete. It's been rebuilt and is a 355, I think like 3000 miles since rebuild. I was planning on putting it in my 86 Sierra but found a 6.2 truck motor for it instead.
