All Business
Story is, buddy of mine, whom isnt TOO mechanically inclined, bought this 73' Pontiac Ventura 2dr. a couple years back, as a project for when he was home from college, etc. He just bought it and drove it home without consulting anyone to really check it out. The body it self is pretty solid, and completely original, although its going to need 1/2 quarters, and a trunk pan. This past weekend we go under it to remove all the rear suspension, (it sagged really bad) and he bought all Brand new leaf springs, and shackles and shocks. We got underneath of it, only to discover the rear subframing to be pretty rusted.....
Long story short, hes looking to get rid of it, and start a new project after college.
The good:
Factory Shaker hood....complete and in good shape. From what I have read this is ultra rare for 73...
Numbers matching Pontiac 350/350 with new Edelbrock intake/carb.
As stated above, doors/fenders/body tub/ rockers/etc all very solid/straight.
Interior is all there and complete, decent shape.
All trim/emblems/stainless/ etc.
Has all four correct type Pontiac steel "ralleye" wheels.
Car does run/move.
He's not in a big hurry to sell it, But PM any offers or intrest you may have, I'm almost postive hes willing to part it out..
I know most of the sheetmetal and other parts will work on 68-74 Novas/Omegas, as well...
