FedEx delivery guy throwing computer monitor

Fuck... that asshole didn't even try or act like he tried to get a hold of someone to take delivery.

Those things are packaged better than the Presidential bunker. I can almost guarantee that it didn't so much as get a dent in the packaging.

Should we call you swifster on this one?

Here is a video of my monitor being "delivered". The sad part is that I was home at the time with the front door wide open. All he would have had to do was ring the bell on the gate. Now I have to return my monitor since it is broken.

No. I receive those monitors almost daily. From personal experience, not some randome relative of a relative, I can attest that those boxes take far more than that before any damage is done. The 'drop' that happened from the 'toss' maybe dented the corner of the box. I don't care what he says, there's no way he got a damaged monitor unless it was shipped damaged.

As for the FedEx guy being lazy, well, there's several shipping options you can pick. The one he picked required the FedEx guy to just make the drop. It didn't require him to ring the bell etc...

Drop ship??

Jim Carrey anyone?? hahahahaha

Stalk... can you get us a video of you dropping one from 7ft and then plugging it in? I'll watch. :)

I open up new monitors everyday at work for our machines and they are not moving in the box at all. Its a bitch trying to pack them back up the correct way when we have to ship them back out.

So you would have no issue with FedEx doing that do one of your packages?

If the damage was obviously from the fall then yes. I guarantee you that those see worse treatment at the sorter facilities than what that guy did. That fall did nothing. Also you can see it fell on grass, not cement.

so......i guess that makes it ok?.......sorry, but i'm failing to see the logic in that thought process......:dunno:

I know a UPS guy, and he says that in the sort facility he's seen more packages abused than not. I always pack the shit out of my stuff, or it will end up broken. That's too bad about FedEx people doing that. I've come to expect that from UPS and USPS, but I guess nothing is safe anymore.

If that delivery guy isn't fired he should be penalized or punished. Someone needs to tell him that it's a far bigger pain in the ass for the customer to have to go somewhere and pick it up when the guy couldn't deliver it due to a fence than to throw it over the fence like that. Stupid.
