Fall yard clean up Services Recommendations?

Hey MM I need recommendations for a Fall clean up service in Farmington Hills.

After Googling the cheapest # I was quoted was $450. My yard is not that big:

Front:73x161
Rear: 73x161

The front is already done except where I cut down some half shrub half tree things that are too big for the city to haul away. So its really just the back yard. I would also like to pay for them to haul those away. I was quoted an extra $100 for that and that seems fair.

It all makes sense if you go see the property (hoping they would drive out to quote the place before just saying $450 like the last few places)

Paying cash.
Recommendations? :headscrat

Serve beer & food, invite friends, and job gets done MUCH cheaper.
I dont have time to work with my friends :( I cant invite people over give them beer and food and not be there
Otherwise this would be a good suggestion

You have a 4 day weekend coming up. That's plenty of time to get it done.
I will be out of town.....

anyone have a real suggestion (Steve yours was real)

Have you called the city regarding the shrubs you pulled? They usually have a special line for larger items that WM or the garbage/yard waste company won't take. You may have to cut it down, but it's free.

Yea they do but its gonna be a decent amount of work to get it within their guidelines, and I simply dont have even 20 minutes to devote to this.

The guys who pick up the garbage and yard waste in FH suck. If you don't follow their rules and tie up your branches exactly right, they'll just leave them there on the curb.

I had them out last summer to cut down a bunch of trees and haul away a big brush pile. I believe Justin had them do a tree at his house too.

agree 100% they totally suck.

I loved back in Grosse Pointe all you had to do was blow all your leaves onto the curb (NOT BAGGED) and they came by with a HUGE vacuum and sucked them all up, every week while leaves feel!
Plus if you cut things down all you had to was put the cut end towards the street so they could grab it. That was the only rule, no BS about sizing or bundling etc.

I'm down for that.

I have a leaf blower. And if Shaun could also leave that sweet ass leaf blower of his dad's in the garage, leaves would be done in no time.

On another note, I'm glad my city's dudes are totally lax on enforcing their stick bundling requirements. I've never put anything in any poorly bundled, way too long form out that they didn't pick up.

We do clean-ups but not out in your areas. Honestly, 450 isnt out of the general area for a cleanup from a company.

I could load up some tools and bring my dad's truck and knock it out. I'm used to doing a rather large yard here. Shaun's wouldn't take long at all to finish.

Over the past year I lost 2 30 foot Bradford pear trees out of my front yard. The brush piles were 6' tall by 20' by 20'. The little town I live in had them GONE the next day. No calls. No questions. Just came home and they weren't there any more.

I do love samll town living.

I would happily pay you, you and brad or anyone on here $200 to do the back yard, finish the front after the shrubs/tree are gone and hanlde said shrub and tree. PLUS beer and food
