fairmont k member ?

im thinking of building a fairmont for a street strip car. the one im looking at has a strait 6 in it. would i have to get a v8 mustang k member to put a v8 in it ? thanks
 
No matter what the motor you use get a aftermarket K-member , Makes it a lot nicer having the extra room

<---- I used a UPR K-member dropped 1 1/2" with motor plates in mine to run a BBF
