f1a on a stock 2v. Whats the largest pulley I could fit to keep the boost to somewhere around 10 psi or the limits of the stock shortblock so 400whp, maybe a little more.

I know the f1a is really overkill but if I can get a great deal on the whole kit for my car id rather get this kit and run it on my stock engine till I can get a forged shortblock.

Ive been reading about clearance issues with the alternator pulley and larger SC pulleys. I have steeda UDPs on the car now. Could I keep the UD crank pulley and switch back to the original water pump and alternator pulley to keep the boost down or will that not work out like im thinking?

I don't know about a 2v but on my cobra I had to grind down the alternator to make the 8 rib stuff clear. I dont imagine yours would be much different.

LARGEST pulley 4.25 BUT you STILL will need to grind on the alternator a bit to fit. It really isnt going to be very effective since you need to spin that blower.

strims are cheap, ttrims, or even a d1 or something would be plenty for the stock 2v. an f1a just seems retarded on a stock one. even at 10lbs it would max out the motor i'm sure. my buddy has an f1r at 14lbs with ported 2v heads/blower cams and it made 540 thru an auto with an unlocked converter.

I just don't want to pass up this deal. It's what I planned on putting together as a kit eventually.
you should not buy this, but you should give me the info so i can ;) lol. Seriously if i were you i would buy it even if i had to hold it for a little while for a forged motor. gl

I would buy it and use it now. Keep the boost down and you should be fine and then when you upgrade the engine you will be good to go.

Alright im getting it on Saturday. Ill run a 4.2" pulley and that should keep my block from showing its innards.

While searching around I actually found the guys car in a FS thread on SVTP from 2009. The seller was from VA so im guessing this guy bought it and now be said hes going twin turbo.
