Does anyone know if there is a jumper harness that plugs right into a factory Mustang harness for the first Gen FAST systems?

I am not aware of one. You could get an AEM plug and play 31-1400 ems though. Plugs right in. No adapter harness needed. What are you building ?

A buddy has the FAST set-up, that's why I'm going to use it. He just wasn't sure if there was an easier way to hook it up on a Ford (he usually works on GM cars). It's an n/a sbf 306 in a Mustang. Nothing to fancy, we just want control over it.

Lol...I know, I was going to email you on Monday. I'll do that since I have some questions.

Get a hold of Dan White...Although I don't recommend using the jumper harness as it kinda rigs stuff...It works, but eh, I've probably got enough stuff here that you either A, make a new harness, or B, use these EEC break out connectors I've got and build something custom, its not too tough, I can also get you part #'s for connectors & stuff...
You should know this man... :)

Just take the stock harness get a set of connectors and pins and repin the FAST to the factory harness. We do it that way becuase it works alot better if the factory harness is in good shape.

PM duke. He will usually do it for a reasonable fee and does a nice job. He has done this a few times for us and it always looks great. Plus you can keep the FAST in the stock PCM location.

which system is better for a turbo 331 application a first gen fast system or the aem? I have the fast system ready to install but if the aem is better for a dd i would consider selling it

I have a bs3 that is in a box in the closet waiting for the next bonfire. I may have found a source for all my problems with the bs3 on the black car, read somewhere that running the stock ecu for the gauges and the bs3 will cause some weird feedback on the crank position sensor and cause the car to suddenly die like mine did. Im going to try the fast system on the notch/turbo project

Hrmmm what exactly happened? And you're thinking it was the BS3 that caused it and it would not have happened with a different ECU?

Depends on alot of factors. The FAST is far far esier to work with. The AEM has alot of nice features. Depending on the injector in use a AEM plug and play may need an auxilary injector control unit. There are up and downsides to both sysems. At the end of the day however the AEM is upgradeable in terms of how you set the system up and the only thing that changes is stuff in software.

Ask DPMcghee about his.
