Expired Nitrous bottles

Well, this winter I'm getting a fill station so I could give a rats ass if your bottle is cert. or not. I'll fill the fucker.

no they wont, they have never checked it for us...i dont think ive ever had a bottle that was certified...

i used to run 9s in my car with no roll bar or cage when it was first done and they could give a fuck less about the bottle...

I take it he left the bottle heater on huh?
 
The hydro test involves pressurizing the tank to 5/3 of its working pressure with water ( not air. ) Since water is incompressible, if the tank fails, the water will quietly leak out. If air were used, a rupturing tank would destroy a large part of the building it was in.


along with a visual inspection , inside and out

It has to be open for the pressure switch to work unless you have a bottle with a full time pressure port

IIRC the system wont turn on unless it reads a minimum pressure as well so that it cant happen, not 100% on this though, ill have to check on monday
