Exhaust oil

What does it mean when a car shoots out black oily looking stuff out of the exhaust?
It only does it when its not warmed up.

It also burns oil at idle but im pretty sure it doesnt when its driving.

It looks like its mixed with water, but would it be shooting that out everyday if it was carbon? But then again it does run a little rich.

I'm sure any water coming out of your exhaust would be discolored. I'll let someone who actually knows what they're talking about chime in though. Ah, dave89iroc beat me to it.

If it is oil though I believe it can be a bad piston ring, that your exhaust valve seals are bad/gone or that a valve guide is worn in excess. Google FTW!

Well i dont think its a bad ring because if it is a ring, wont it burn even more when i am on the throttle?
