Hi Guys,
Currently have a GZM Motorsports Evac pump on the Dart 306 motor. We make 750 at the tires with 25 lb of boost. When we put together this motor I installed the pump--we never ran it with just a couple of breathers. Over the off season I installed a different crank pulley for the blower and am having tough time getting the acc pulleys to line up. Question..............do I REALLY need the evac pump in our application or would a pair of breathers on the valve covers be sufficient?? I know I will eventually get it all spaced out for a belt to ride evenly but if the pump could be eliminated it would really simplify things for me. Any thoughts???
