I just bought a 2002 Escape v6 auto 4x4 and need a transmission or trans repaired. I drove it down the street and it shifted ok then it just stop moving...

AWD cd4e...Not a inexpensive fix....common to crack the fwd drum, and snap the 2-4 band...but yours sounds like its no longer pumping fluid.
cd4e's are major peices of shit.
