Did the parts washer end up selling? If not, is it rated for solvent or is it only rated for water-based chemicals?

Nope I still have it. I have only used mineral spirits in it. Never had a problem. I put a quart of trans fluid in there to keep the flash point down.

Ah, that's exactly what I did in mine actually. Thanks, but I'm mainly just looking to upgrade to a true solvent-compatible tank. Good luck with sale!
