Hey guys anyone know someone that does good work with epoxy flooring? Just purchased a new home and I want to get the floor sealed before I move everything in. Lmk if you guys have had it done / your thoughts on it seems like its a worthwhile investment.

I did it in my home right after it was built and used Behr's kit. Bought my 2 kits to ensure I had enough (needed both kits) for my 2 car garage and I love the way it turned out. I also bought 2 extra bags of flakes.

By the way, 2 years later and other than spots where the tires always rest it looks just like new.

But, the original question was does anyone know of someone who does good work with epoxy coating. Not do you know where you can get supplies to do it yourself....

The original question was not answered.......

So, does anyone know who can do epoxy floors for the non do it yourselfer?

Tell him Matt Stanford from Varsity sent ya. They do the floors for our dealerships, family garages, ect.

I tried that behr kit in my basement. Didn't work out so well.

Moving washer and dryer out to work on them once in a while scrapped off the paint back to the concrete. The floor wasn't all that smooth to begin with though.

I don't know of anyone that does epoxy work..sorry can't help there.

Thanks guys I'll give Jim a call and glad to see you guys are happy with it I'm definitely going to have someone do it instead of trying to do a kit.

Actually there were multiple questions, not just one.

I just read it as one question.

Maybe wizeguy has a contact? Doesn't he do concrete and such? Maybe he'll have a contractor that they use in which he could distribute as needed. (only two questions there) :D

I just ordered Epoxy-coat for my floor. will be doing the floor next weekend. Its actually really easy to do yourself. Like all painting its in the prep. I used rustolem on my old Westland garage. I picked epoxy-coat this time because its a 100% solid epoxy it also covers thick (9mils). I plan on making a garage journal page here soon so I'll post the link when I get the page made :D
