Electrical Problem?!

P-Town's hired gun
So, I have a new starter, tried 3 new batteries and just got my alternator tested today. All seem to be good! Even my volts show that everything is charging when running.

Shut the car off and let it sit for about 30 mins(it was windy and cool out, keep in mind) go to start it back up, nothing, just clicks... take the batttery out and got it tested last night and it tested perfect....and this was right after the clicking noise.

WTF!!!

Your starter is getting too hot from the headers... Chevy's are famous for that...

it's a dang ford...lol

But for real, the engine was cool by then... let it sit for about 30 mins and it was pretty windy last night, not to mention cool outside.

That sucks hope you get it figured out. Sounds like the starter is getting to hot like Reiko said. Will it fire up if you let it sit for a little while?

What you need to do is recreate the problem... And have someone bump it over to make sure the starter is getting 12-14 volts... If it is... The starter is defective...
