I have some older electric lawn tools, they work, just replaced with gas ones.

well, more information at least... size of the hedge trimmer... condition.... i'm interested in them, but i can buy a new set of black and decker 16" trimmers for $25.00.

Its 13" I just oiled the blades and plugged it in and it runs fine. Its an older one and has some signs of wear, like paint scracthes etc. However, its the good heavy metal ones, not the cheap plastic deals they make now.
