Don't recall exactly, but he mentioned the show was taking a new direction from the station that he didn't agree with, so he decided to move on. Not sure what it was about.

With Discovery taking over the show, they wanted to do far more sponsored content for Edd's portion of the show. Edd didn't want parts and companies dictated to him that might not make sense or be the best solution, simply because a company wanted to pay to play.
