Ebay Grand National Headers

Check these things out for $200! They are getting mixed reviews. The crossovers don't align perfectly and you have to weld in an O2 bung. But the only alternative is some used ATR's, or $1000 TA Performance set. Kind of makes you want to do a GN project. I may buy some just in case.

I was told to keep the stock headers until deep into the 10 second zone? Any Buick guys have input on that?

Pretty much. There's no reason to change them unless they are severly cracked and can't be repaired.

Pretty much.

The stock headers are infamous for cracking.

ATR is the way to go but after they went under they are close to the $1000 range for used ones.

I would like some more info on those on ebay for $200.

There is a good thread on turbobuick.com about them. One guy is complaining because there is a hole off and he has very little flange left for the gasket to seal. Another guy wrote up a laundry list. Most people are saying That you might ahve to do minor fab to get them to fit. I don't think I could buy the bends and weld them myself for $200.

From my standpoint, since I have no headers at all, these are a pretty good start. I haven't even seen stockers go for $200. The only things I need now are lower intake and harness.
