Eat em up Tigers guy killed

Yeah, I also walked by them last night leaving. I did not know that these guys were famous & stuff. Still sucks though, unfortunate that nobody really cares about anyone but themselves anymore.
 
Gonna miss that dude at ALL Detroit games....always dropped some cash on him. Hope the D sends him off right!
 
Man, I've been to countless games. Thats probably the only person I actually gave money to. I honestly enjoyed hearing "eat em up tigers eat em up" on my way in. It wasn't about giving to the needy at that point, it was about team spirit also. And honestly, it won't be the same walking into Comerica and not hearing that chant...

I get what youre saying. Still shitty that some asshole ran them over and left. These guys may be beggers but atleast they aren't on the street killing people or raping people. They were harmless, and still human.

I agree, although stopping likely wouldn't have made any difference.

Apparently I'm the only one who finds beggars annoying and pathetic. I don't wish anyone ill on an individual level and I'm not happy anyone was killed in an auto accident, but frankly I'd like to be able to go to a Wings or Tigers game & not be approached by panhandlers trying to shake me down for booze/drug money.

For all we know this was a murder/suicide or they were taken out by competing panhandlers.

I'm guessing these guys weren't hit in a crosswalk though...it's one of the dangers of jaywalkingHow many other people were killed in Detroit that night though? Justice for Trayvon
 
I wonder if they were more or less drunk than the person who ran them over..
Had they be in any of the many homeless shelters sleeping this wouldn't have happened.
