dynatech BBC to mustang headers...

has anyone else with a bbc mustang used these headers? they say for bbc in 79-93 mustang with AJE k-member, which is exactly what i have, and ive had nothing but problems, you cant get the left side on with an oil filter on and you cant get an oil filter on with the header on, so did remote filter... the right side was hitting a tube on the k member, so cut the tube out and put one in lower, solved that problem, now the header is hitting the A arm.. shoulda just paid the extra money and had daimond make a set...
 
sent pictures to both AJE and dynatech, they said "wow weve never seen anything like this before" and pretty much said ure on ure own figure it out
 
i'd talk to the manager, or ask for higher up until you are satisfied. Tell them they are being sent back no matter what. If credit card cancel that shit
 
is the motor set lower with your mounts ? is there adjustability to raise it ? most of the time fitment issues with swap parts is that the engine is sitting lower or further back than normal

no adjustment front to rear or up and down, it can go side to side about a half inch on the mounts but that would make the header on the other side hit... the thing is dynatech advertises these headers for this motor on this k member... which would tell me they mocked it up in their shop with a big block chevy on this k member.. youd think even if there was an adjustment theyd leave themselves a little bit of margin for error,with how far it is from fitting it would take major adjustments in motor position
