What size wheel is this?

Reason for the dumb ass question:

I bought these being told they were 17s. I have found many references to this style wheel as being a 17. I can't find anything that says they came in 18. It looks like 18 to me?

Wheels are measured from the inner bead seating area...:finger: lol

I know they're measured by the inner bead area, but this "lip" seemed big....the tire still has to fit over the lip

I figured it was 17 I just thought the lip seemed pretty big.

lol, when you mount a tire on a wheel there is a recess in the barrel, that you start the tire on to get it over the lip to mount it.:)

and not the dumbest question, not even the dumbest ever posted here

No.. removing a 18 inch wide tire off a wheel with a standard tire machine sucks.
a guy i worked with would put the tire on the machine , put the arm down then turn the tire by hand because someone always shut the air off to the machine.
