Dual trans coolers?

Already have a trans cooler on the car and was thinking about either replacing it or adding another cooler with its own fan to keep temps down. Would there be any negative effects (other then waste of money and added weight) to just adding a second cooler with a fan inline with the cooler I already have? Just looking to keep the trans cool in stop and go traffic. Also if anyone has a reccomendation for a efficient cooler with a fan post up a link, id appricate it!

Thanks guys.

Just get this and be done with it...

Then don't bitch when your transmission needs a rebuild cause the bands are glazed over from the heat...

I wont "bitch". This trans doesnt have a T-brake, and uses a OEM conveter, I just need somthing with a fan to keep it cool in heavy traffic thats all. Wasnt knocking that cooler its sweet and I very well may just buy that one, but Im thinking a cheaper B&M Hi-tek cooler with a fan would work just fine for it.

Doing two just doubles the number of spots which can leak. Just get the big B&M with a fan.

Or if you really want to go OEM, just get a Mach 1 radiator as I assume they have a built in trans cooler.

Yeah, I was thinking about that B&M. Was just thinking of leaving the current cooler in there cause it does get good airflow when going 55mph+ also its kinda a pain to remove , just being lazy.

run two in-line and let the Cobra Fan do its job....

You said you were thinking about upgrading for stop and go traffic.......not while cruising at 55mph.
