Why on God's earth do you need a line lock with a truck with 500ft-lb's to the tires and an automatic??

She likes to go sideways with EASE unless I am locking down the front brakes and I don't want to foot brake it -- the rears will get toasted QUICK.

Not sure why the rear is kicking out but you have nothing to worry about with your brakes. I raced mine a lot and never wore down the rear pads.
