Don & Ethyl Richard auction, saturday. ImlayCity

If I didn't have plans this weekend, I'd go. I see a few things I wouldn't mind trying to get.

Briefly read the description, but didnt see a "fee" or anything to attend. Did I over look it?

How late do these go on for throughout the day?

Knowing rowleys, Id guess you will need to bring dinner, alot of this auction is single items and they take time, 3 cars alone is 1 hour some of the petrolium stuff is 10-15 minutes per item, if theres as much as they are leading on Im confused at to why this is a single ring one day auction

Are you sure it will be one ring
all day?

Always bring a cooler packed with sandwiches
and drinks for the day!

Did anyone go to this? What did the old Imperial sell for? I've been jonesing for a car with tail fins. Soon as the wagon is done it's getting sold & something with fins is gonna replace it.

all the cars have been sitting for 15 to 20 years. the imperal sold for 5700 the lincolns sold from 7k i beleive up to 21k way too much money up there not enought smarts.... seemed like most of the items were selling for double of what there worth

Every time I go to an auction like that I shake my head at the prices people pay. Five seconds on cragslist or ebay will tell you what something is worth. I remember when City of Pontiac had their city garage auction, people were paying prices for lifts that I could almost get a new one for.

auctions are better than casinos for people watching. Thats where paitence and smarts can make you money have to wait out the idiots or find the hidden gems.

as far as the auction thread is about I heard the guys from Mobsteel where there with their TV money

Every auction I have ever been to has been that way. Bidding wars= overspending.
