V6 may be offered.

Chrysler
Chrysler and Fiat will eventually merge and become one entity based in the United States. CEO Sergio Marchionne
has said that it will not likely happen before 2015. Fiat is currently in talks with a pool of banks including Bank of
America Corp., Deutsche Bank AG, Goldman Sachs Group and BNP Paribas SA to purchase the remaining portion
of Chrysler that is held by the UAWs retiree health-care trust fund. Currently, Fiat now has a 58.5% stake in
Chrysler. Since Fiat failed to persuade a judge to set the value of the remaining VEBA shares in late July 2013, the
issue will now go to trial. September 2014 has been set as the trial date to discuss terms of a stock agreement
covering at least 54000 Chrysler VEBA shares, which will further delay the plan for the merger of Fiat and Chrysler.
Marchionne will try to sell the remaining VEBA shares through an initial public offering with the offering going
public sometime in the first quarter of 2014. However, Fiat is reconsidering the benefits and costs to further expand
its relationship with Chrysler due to the more than $5 billion US being demanded by the UAW for their remaining
VEBA shares

By 2016, an 8-speed automatic will be available in all of Chryslers pickups and rear-wheel-drive vehicles and a 9-
speed automatic will be available in most of Chryslers front-wheel-drive cars and SUVs

The 200 sedan will be redesigned in mid-2014 for the 2015 model year and it will be built on the same Fiat-derived
platform that underpins the Dart and Cherokee. Features will include a 9-speed automatic, active grille shutters, a
hidden exhaust in the rear, LED taillamps, electronic parking brake, electric steering and stop-start technology.
Production will begin in Sterling Heights, Michigan in January 2014. Look for the new version to debut in January
at the 2014 NAIAS in Detroit

The redesigned 200 convertible will debut in 2015 for 2016

CUSW platform at the Sterling Heights plant in Michigan in 2015 for the 2016 model year

Look for the Town and Country to be redesigned in 2015 for 2016 with a new look to improve aerodynamics and for
the vehicle to be lighter to improve fuel economy. A diesel version may be offered at a later date if other vehicles
that are offered with a diesel are successful.

Dodge
Two high performance engines-a 6.2-liter V8 code-named Hellcat, and a reworked 2-liter turbocharged in-line 4-
cylinder code-named Hurricane- are under development for use in future models. Look for the 2-liter Hurricane
engine in 2016.

rear quarter panels. Look for a new optional 6.2-liter supercharged V8 (code-named Hellcat) with approximately
640 hp in a special trim of the SRT

The Challengers redesign has been delayed until 2017.

The Charger will be freshened in fall 2014 for the 2015 model year with upgraded interior electronics, new front and
rear fascias and an 8-speed automatic in Hemi-equipped models

The Chargers redesign has been delayed until 2017

The Journey will be dropped in 2015 for the 2016 model year and will be replaced by a Chrysler crossover

Durango will be phased out in 2015 for the 2016 model year to make room at the Jefferson assembly plant for the
new Jeep Grand Wagoneer

Grand Caravan will continue to be sold in North America for now as a fleet vehicle due to its popularity in Canada
and high volume fleet sales

Grand Caravan may live on in Canada as a rebadged version of the redesigned Chrysler Town and Country when it
debuts in 2015 for the 2016 model year. In the US, it will be replaced at that time by a crossover with 3 rows of
seats on a new platform with a shorter wheelbase in 2015 for the 2016 model year

Jeep
Only a few models and top trim levels of Jeeps future products will still have full off-road capabilities. Most of

platform will be sold in Europe and North America and is currently code-named B-SUV. Production has been
delayed from late 2013 to June 2014. The vehicle will be smaller than the Patriot and Compass and looks like a
small version of the Wrangler

The Compass and Patriot will offer limited-run special edition versions until 2015 when Chrysler will decide on
which vehicle will be discontinued

A new 4-door Wrangler Unlimited Dragon Edition will debut in late fall 2013 for the 2014 model year. The vehicle
is only available in black and features black and bronze accents throughout the exterior and interior. Other amenities
include 18 matte-black 5-spoke alloy wheels with bronze accents, a dark charcoal dragon decal that runs from the
hood and along the drivers side, Napa leather seats with a dragon logo on the seatback and the dragon logo on the
floor mats

Wrangler will be reengineered in 2016 for the 2017 model year when it will shed some weight and be equipped with
a new 8-speed automatic and be offered with an optional diesel engine. A pickup version may be offered if the
Toledo plant where it is built can be expanded and provide enough capacity

No major changes are expected to the Cherokee until at least 2016

The Grand Cherokees next redesign is due in summer 2016 for the 2017 model year

The Grand Wagoneer will be revived when Chrysler produces a new up-scale 7-seater SUV in 2015 (delayed from
late 2013) that would be built on the Grand Cherokee platform at the Jefferson assembly plant and sold as a 2016
model. The vehicle will replace the Dodge Durango and will compete with the Cadillac Escalade

General Motors
GM will convert most of its North American models AC refrigerant within five years to a more environmentally
safe type named HFO-1234yf. However, there are concerns that this refrigerants flammability could spark a fire
under the hood that would be powerful enough to consume the vehicle, and in the process, it emits a highly toxic gas
while burning. GM recently found no evidence that this refrigerant emits toxic fumes and catches fire in a
collision

GM and Isuzu have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to negotiate and jointly develop a next
generation compact pickup. This vehicle will likely be sold in Europe and Asia, but it may be sold in North America
as well.

By mid-2014, GM will team up with AT & T to equip most 2015 models in the US and Canada with 4G LTE
broadband Internet connection. The built-in feature will be superior to the current system whereby a smartphone has
to be linked in order to get Internet content

GM and Honda will partner together to develop a common system for use in hydrogen fuel cell vehicles with the
hopes of getting the technology into showrooms by the year 2020.

GM is developing a new small, light hydrogen fuel-cell system that will be production-ready in 2015. GM will team
up with The Gas Company (TGS) in Honolulu, Hawaii for the infrastructure of this program. No word on what
vehicles will utilize this technology at this time

Ford and GM are co-jointly developing 9-speed and 10-speed automatic transmissions for use in GM and Ford FWD
and RWD cars, crossovers, SUVs and pickups. Production will likely start around 2016.

GM is upgrading engine plants in Michigan, Indiana and Ohio to build a new 8-speed automatic that will be used in
several models by the end of 2016. Also being developed at those plants in a joint venture with Chinas Shanghai
Automotive Industry Corp. (SAIC) are small 3 and 4-cylinder engines with displacements between 1-liter and 1.5-
liter that will be used in GMs subcompacts the Spark and the Sonic. The engine plant in Romulus, Michigan will
be building a new V6 engine there as well.

Buick
Verano will be redesigned in late 2015 or early 2016. A 1.6-liter turbo will replace the 2-liter turbo and a 2.5-liter
engine will replace the current 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine

At the 2013 Shanghai auto show, Buick showed their Riviera plug-in hybrid concept vehicle which is meant to
preview Buicks future design language and may preview a new coupe that may be built on the LaCrosse platform.

GM may add a coupe or convertible version of the Verano based on the European Opel Cascada convertible shown
at the 2013 Geneva auto show and may badge it the Riviera or Grand National. If approved, the vehicle will likely
debut sometime in late 2015

The LaCrosse will be redesigned in early 2016 for the 2016 or 2017 model year on an improved version of GMs
Epsilon platform. Look for the 3.6-liter V6 to carry over and for a new 2.5-liter eAssist engine to replace the current
2.4-liter eAssist version

The Regal will be redesigned and based on the Opel Insignia in mid-2016 for the 2017 model year. The 2-liter turbo
will carry over while a new 2.5-liter eAssist model will replace the current 2.4-liter version

GM will produce a new Buick crossover that will be positioned between the Encore and the Enclave. Look for the
vehicle as early as the 2015 model year but it is unclear whether it will be offered in the US

Enclave will be redesigned in mid-2015 for the 2016 model year. Look for the 3.6-liter V6 to carry over, along with
the addition of a turbo version as well. Also, look for a 9-speed automatic to be offered sometime after launch.

Cadillac
The Cadillac Elmiraj 2+2 luxury Grand Coupe Concept was shown in Californias design studio and is an evolution
of Cadillacs Ciel concept vehicle shown in 2011. The concept car is powered by a twin-turbo 4.5-liter V8 with
approximately 500 hp and at this time there are no plans for production.

GM will build an extended-range plug-in hybrid electric vehicle based on the 2009 Converj Concept that will be
named the ELR and sold in all US metropolitan cities beginning in January 2014 as a 2014 model at a price point
of $75,995 US. The vehicle will utilize a 16.5 kwh lithium-ion battery like the Chevrolet Volt, an electric drive, and
a gas-powered 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine with total output of 207 hp and a range of up to 300 miles. It features 4
driving modes-including touring, sport, mountain, and hold mode which allows the driver to use the generator to
save battery power when most needed such as in city driving. The gas engine will be used as a generator when the
batterys energy is running low. On electric power only, the vehicle has a highway range of around 35 miles. Also,
the vehicle will use the paddle shifters on the steering wheel to engage a new feature called Regen on Demand
that will allow the driver to use regenerative braking to slow down the vehicle by pulling back on one of the paddle
shifters after removing their foot from the gas pedal

A coupe version of the ATS is due in spring 2014 for the 2015 model year and a V-series performance model will be
produced in late 2014 for the 2015 model year with power coming from a twin-turbo 410 hp 3.6-liter V6. Plans for a
convertible or wagon version are unlikely.

GM is considering a diesel variant of the ATS that would utilize the Chevrolet Cruzes 2-liter turbodiesel.

The ATS will be freshened for the 2016 model year.

An intercooled, direct injection all-aluminum twin-turbocharged 420 hp 3.6-liter V6 will be available in the new
CTS Vsport trim and will slot in below the V-Series and debut in November. The twin-turbo V6 will be available
only in rear-wheel-drive and is mated to an 8-speed automatic with paddle shifters. The CTS V-Series models will
be redesigned for early 2015 and be powered by one of GMs new V8s. The redesigned coupe version of the CTS
will appear in 2015 as a 2016 model. The wagon version will be discontinued due to slow sales.

A hybrid version of the XTS sedan may be offered for the 2015 model year.

Cadillac will build a large sedan called the LTS on the new Omega rear-wheel-drive platform to compete with the
BMW 7-series and the Mercedes S-Class. Engine choices will include a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 and an optional V8
mated to an 8-speed automatic and optional AWD. A 10-speed automatic will be offered in 2016. The vehicle is
planned to launch in late 2015 for the 2016 model year and may either replace the XTS RWD sedan or be sold
alongside it

Plans to build a low-volume range-topping $100K plus ultra-luxury flagship model have been dropped since GM
executives feel that the investment would not be justifiable and that there would not be enough differentiation
between this vehicle and the planned LTS RWD large sedan due for the 2016 model year

A new small crossover to compete with BMWs X1 is due in the second half of 2015 as a 2016 model and will likely
be powered by a 2-liter turbo 4-cylinder engine.

SRX will be redesigned in early 2015 for the 2016 model year when it will keep its Base 3.6-liter V6. A plug-in
hybrid version is possible at that time also.

A 7-seater Cadillac version of the Lambda platform Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Acadia that may be called the
XTX may be built and will likely be powered by a Cadillac 3.6-liter V6 and, if approved, debut for the 2016 model
year

The next generation Escalade will be in showrooms in April 2014 as a 2015 model on the current full-sized truck
platform with production beginning in spring 2014 in Arlington, Texas. The EXT version will be discontinued.
Power will come from a new 420 hp 6.2-liter V8 mated to a 6-speed automatic. The 8-speed automatic will be
offered at a later date. Also, the twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 may be offered as well at a later date

Chevrolet

Chevrolet showed the Code 130R concept car at the 2012 NAIAS to gauge consumer interest. If produced, it will be
priced in the low $20K US range. It is a rear-wheel-drive 4-seater coupe that will appeal to history-minded
enthusiasts and features flared fenders, an iconic crossed-flags Chevrolet crest, and a bold front fascia and is
powered by a 150 hp Turbocharged 1.4-liter Ecotec 4-cylinder with eAssist mated to a choice of either a 6-speed
manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. At this point, GM executives are still trying to decide whether to produce
the vehicle.

No changes are expected to the Volt until it is redesigned in late 2015 for the 2016 model year on the Cruzes Delta
platform which will be modified to maximize weight savings and give a longer range in electric-mode only. The
current 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine will likely be downsized to a 1.0 or 1.2-liter 3-cylinder engine to improve the
vehicles efficiency

A pure electric version of the Spark began sales in California and Oregon in June 2013 as a 2014 model as an urban
vehicle and has a range of 82 miles when fully charged. Other US markets will follow. The Spark EV will only be
available to fleet buyers in Canada. The vehicle utilizes lithium phosphate technology since these batteries will last
longer and are safer than lithium-ion batteries and deliver 130 hp and 400 lb ft of torque.

Sonic will be freshened for the 2015 model year.

The Cruzes redesign has been pushed from late 2014 to December 2015 when it will be built on the new Delta
compact car platform. The Base 1.8-liter 4-cylinder will be replaced by a 1.5-liter. After the initial launch, a
hatchback or coupe model may be a possibility as well

GM may add a new turbocharged 1.5-liter engine to the Malibus lineup in late 2014 or in 2015 to help with fuel
economy.

A new Z28 version of the Camaro will debut in early 2014 and is powered by a 500 hp LS7 7-liter V8 from the
Corvette Z06 mated to a 6-speed manual Tremec transmission. The car features larger-diameter exhaust, a unique
induction and exhaust system, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, liquid coolers for the transmission and limited slip
rear differential, Pirelli P Zero 19 tires and unique wheels. The vehicle is designed to be both street legal and
available for racetrack duty. To lower weight, the vehicle has no carpet in the trunk, no interior sound deadening
material, a 1-speaker sound system, thinner rear glass, manual front seats, no fog lights or HID headlights and air
conditioning is optional

Camaro will be redesigned in fall 2015 for the 2016 model year when it will move to the Alpha platform that
underpins the Cadillac ATS and shed some weight. In 2015, production will move from Oshawa, Ontario to Lansing,
Michigan since it is the only rear-wheel-drive vehicle produced in Oshawa and so that GM can take advantage of
improved production efficiencies and a lower capital cost by moving the Camaros production to Michigan. The
ATS 2-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine may become the Base engine and a new 5.3-liter V8 from the new
pickups will be offered

No changes are expected to the Impala in the near future

The previous generation Impala will be sold in the US until spring 2014 to fleet customers only in LS and LT trims
and badged as the Impala Limited. The new generation models sales focus will be to retail customers.

The new Chevrolet SS will debut on the Camaros rear-wheel-drive Zeta platform in late 2013 for the 2014 model
year and sold in limited numbers and initially, only in the US. The vehicle will be assembled in a Holden factory in
Australia and will be powered by a 415 hp LS3 6.2-liter V8 with 415 lb ft of torque and features 19 wheels and an
aluminum hood and trunk. Look for production of a next generation SS to move to the US on the Cadillac ATS
Alpha platform in 2015 or 2016

Look for the Z06 (to be possibly named the Z07) and ZR1 versions of the new Corvette Stingray to arrive for the
2015 model year, Rumours pointed to the vehicles being powered by a twin-turbo 4.5-liter V8 similar to the one
shown in the Cadillac Elmiraj concept car but in all likelihood, they will be powered by a supercharged LT4 6.2-liter
V8 pushing between 600 and 650 hp in the Z06 version and close to 700 hp in the ZR1.

The convertible edition of the Corvette Stingray will go on sale approximately 3 months after the launch of the coupe
(sometime around January 2014) as a 2014 model. It will be powered by the same 450 hp 6.2-liter V8 as the coupe
mated to a choice of a 6-speed automatic or a 7-speed manual and has a standard power operated cloth top.

Race car builder Callaway Cars will produce their AeroWagon Concept Corvette for a cost of $22,995 US
added to the price of the Stingray of your choice. Production begins in January 2014 and the vehicle will only
be available in North America.

Rumours are out there that GM will offer an entry-level Corvette coupe that would sell for less than $50,000 in mid
to late 2015. The vehicle would be powered by a 5.3-liter V8 that would be less powerful than the other models 450
6.2-liter V8 and feature less content. No further information is available yet.

The Equinox will be redesigned in early 2015 for the 2015 or 2016 model year when it will be slightly smaller and
lose weight as it moves to a modified version of the Delta compact car platform. Engine choices will include a new
2.5-liter 4-cylinder as the Base engine, a carryover 3.6-liter V6, and new eAssist mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid
models.

A redesign of the Traverse is due for the 2016 model year when it will still keep its 3.6-liter V6. Look for a 9-speed
automatic to be available in 2017.

Tahoe and Suburban will be redesigned in the first quarter of 2014 as 2015 models and will remain on a full-sized
truck platform vs. a Lambda platform. The vehicle will be powered by a new direct-injection fifth generation
EcoTec3 355 hp 5.3-liter small block V8 with 383 lb ft of torque mated to a 6-speed automatic and receive vastly
improved interiors..

After the initial launch of the new Tahoe, look for significant additions to capability, powertrains and packages
including a new off-road package. Eventually a new 8-speed automatic will be offered and GMs new 4.3-liter
EcoTec3 V6 may be offered as well as GMs four-mode hybrid system.

The next generation Colorado compact pickup will be built in Wentzville, Missouri and will be slightly larger than
the current Colorado and will be built on a new global, body-on-frame rear-wheel-drive mid-size platform. The
Colorado will be marketed as a sport truck. Engine options will include a base 2.5-liter 4- cylinder and a new
EcoTec3 4.3-liter V6 from the Silverado. It will be sold in the US in fall 2014 for the 2015 model year but will not
be offered in Canada.

GM may offer a 2.5 or 2.8-liter Duramax diesel in the Colorado sometime around fall 2015.

GM may offer a 3-liter V6 diesel in their Silverado 1500 in the future. At the moment, it will wait to see how well a
diesel engine is received by consumers in the Ram and Nissan light-duty pickups.

The Silverado 1500 will undergo an extensive weight reduction program when they are redesigned in 2019 to meet
future fuel economy standards and to stay competitive with Ford. Between now and 2019, GM will introduce more
lightweight materials such as aluminum and composite into the trucks underbody components and body as well.

A restyle of the Silverado 2500/3500 is due in early 2014 for the 2015 model year. Engine choices will include a 6-
liter V8 with 360 hp on the 2500 models and 322 hp on the 3500 models, both with 380 lb ft of torque, and an
optional Duramax 6.6-liter diesel with 397 hp and 765 lb ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed
automatic.

Nissan will produce a small cargo van based on their NV200 for GM that will be sold in the US and Canada as the
Chevrolet City Express beginning in fall 2014.
