Dog attack

Wow! Sorry to hear that, hope she gets better fast. Unfortunetely you can't really blame the dog. With it being three years old you can't tell how it was raised. Having Shepherd in the mix doesn't help at all. They can be tempermental and unpredictable in a new atmosphere, especially if they weren't trained around little ones when he/she was a puppy.

thanks to every one for there suport, she is doing good todday, she didnt want to go to school....thanks for the help

No problem. I don't blame her for not wanting to go to school. I would hope the little kids wouldn't make fun of her, but you never know what kids will do. Hopefully little girls are nicer than little boys. Glad to hear she is doing better today though.

I flew over the handlebars of my bicycle the day before 9th grade. My lip folded over and got stuck in 3 of my braces, and blew up like a blowfish and my chin was scrapped to shit. I landed on a curb trying to jump it. Everybody in school was like WTF happen to you? The guys gave me a hard time, but it sure got the women's attention.

WOW Sorry to hear about this. It makes you wonder if the people that gave the Dog up were completely honest with the Humane society. Either way it's a very sad situation. I hope she makes a speedy recovery.

thanks everyone im sure she would love to here all this suport especialy from people that dont even know her or me

there is alot of good people on this web site thanks motown

sorry to hear that I hope she feels better. ggod thing you didnt kill that damn dog because this reminds me of the cop who shot his neighbors dog for attacking his daughter. they lived next door to them for years and one day the dog just attacked her the cop left work and emptied his whole clip on the dog. they charged the cop with animal curelty and I think he had to do some jail time. If this happend down south that dog would have taken one behind the head for sure.

Hopefully she will recover without any scars (physical or emotional). I think it is great that they went to the pound to get the dog and even adopted an older dog so it is especially bad to see someone trying to do the right thing have to go through something like this. The only thing I can say about the pound is that there is only so much they can do to test the animals and it is very possible this one never showed any aggressive behavior. They typically only have the dogs for a very short period of time and due to the number of animals they have, get to spend very little time interacting with each one. My guess is that many of the employess are even volunteers. While it is easy to place blame on them, the fact is sometimes the unpredictable happens.

Again, I hope your niece recovers quickly and fully.
