Do you tip movers??

Not sure on the movers thing, but while we are on the subject of tips, what the hell is with those bastards in the guys bathroom wanting tips for giving you some soap and a paper towel? WTF?? That is so fucking gay and retarted. Its one main reason I dont go to wild woodys and alot of bars in canada unless its for a special event or someones birthday. What the hell is he doing there and why should I have to tip them??

I always tip the girls @ Milan's food stand. They don't have a tip jar so I just set it on the counter. I mean what's a dollar? I'm sure they aren't making shit.

me too. but for a different reason.

Your supposed to tip a mover:dontknow: Doesn't moving cost a shit load of money? Do people normally tip you? Do you normally break shit?
not when i pay out of my ass to hire a moving comapny. the tip is the hourly wage, and if the pay isnt good enoguh, its time to ask for a raise. Its hard work for sure, but people spend a lot of cash paying the company to do it.

do we need it no. we make ok money... nothing to brag about but it is alot fucking harder then serving some people food.... we dont take breaks, and we work our asses off for about 6-14 hrs a day back to back....

A lot goes into being a waiter. You should try it sometime. You are constantly dealing with the general public, and trying to keep people who come in pissed off, happy when they leave. When you wait tables you are a sales person, and your income RELIES on tips. You have to market yourself and the product in a way that sounds appetizing and professional. Some nights you are dealing with 4 tables of guests and you have to make sure you get everything out on time and spaced properly. (IE: don't slam them with their food all at once).

What does the word tips stand for? To Insure Proper Service.

While we are on the subject, if you have a coupon and go out to eat, thats fine, just make sure you tip on the amount BEFORE the discount. Nothing is more disappointing then when you give them $15 off, and they leave you $2. The norm for tipping is now 18%-20%. Remember while minimum wage increased the servers wages stayed at a lousy $2.65 and hour. By the time you claim your tips (charge tips) you don't get a check because it all goes to taxes.

Sorry for the rant, but there is some very rewarding nights.
