Yea i meant to say roll bars i call all of them cages, but it would probably be a 6 or 8 pt, thanks for your guys input so far. Anybody else feel free to to comment, Thanks.
thier cages fit well and only need some notching to be completed. just make sure when you order it you get the door runner bars. and not the big ass halo.
They work I have one in my car, It justs needs notching and tweeking. If you are gonna pay some one to put it in then I would spend the extra money up front and go crome moly (sp?) Then you can add to it alot easier down the road.
for the money they fit well, i had one in my 77 camaro and it fit like shit, have a buddy with one in his gn and it fit well but had to have a few tweaks done to it to make it look nice. its not a bad cage, but you get what you pay for.
i have herd very few people say they fit like crap. i suspect that a frame that is not true, fabrication skills and or quality control. have to do with that. most people say they go in nicely. defiantly get what you pay for. i had a friend of a friend that put a cm wolfe cage in his fox mustang and said he had to modify 12 of 14 pts. to get it in right. and this fella knew what he was doing. i am looking at the wolfe race craft kits and the south Houston outlaw cages. both around 700$ but they are jig notched and supposedly "hold and weld" haha not sure how much i believe that but everyone seems happy with them.
another comment. someone above said if you have soemone install it go with chrome molly. ... i agree but keep in mind if you do that and want to add any bars to it, unless you can tig weld you need to have that done as well. good luck post pics!
I dont think any of these cages are " hold and weld", if they were anyone with a welder could do them. Theres a certain amount of fabbing to make em look right.
