Divorce attorney...

A good friend of mine is going through a divorce....trying to make a long story short...she is psycho, she has on numerous occasions attacked my friend...she does not work, and took all the money out of their savings account, she is I guess getting a attorney, and wants alimony, child support, and to stay in the house and have my friend pay all the bills. He has 3 kids, 17, 13, and 8. The oldest is not his. He is seriously at his braking point, he does not know what to do at all, he has been sleeping in his car for the last week. He has no money to fully hire a attorney. If there is anyone that could help him, it would be greatly appreciated...maybe advise etc. I can give anyone his cell phone number if they want to offer legal advise, or give me some numbers of who he could call.

He must move back in ASAP. He can file for divorce without an attorney and the court will freeze the accounts. All attorneys will do a free consultation and advise him how to proceed.

Once the divorce is over the money she stole will go towards what he has to pay. A friend on mine got divorced and she took the car and 60k cash... after all said and done, ahe owed HIM 20k.. she already spent them money so now she is broke making him payments.

Strongly advise what others have said about moving back in to the house. Also advantageous for him to file first. Stuff like this is hard to go thru because you rarely think clearly when it happens to you. If there is kids involved and she is seriously kooksville do t play nice..do what's best for the kids. I'm speaking from first hand experience. Find a good attorney who gives a bleep and isn't just pushing the case through for the quick cash grab.
