its right where you start to go up a hill on the right. the parking lot is about 2 feet from the road so its very easy to see. You shouldn't be able to miss it. plus there is usually cars lined up down the road so

Ya i wanna go there to. Is it easy to locate? Do the police just not give a shit? Is it private land?
state land, target shooting is legal year round AFAIK, unless I hear otherwise(bow season right now)

the police drive by all the time. they can watch from the road cause where you stand to shoot is only about 15 feet from the road

Is it ran by the DNR or anyone? Does some one call a siese fire so you can hang targets?

it is not official range, and as such, no range officers or anematies, but it sounds like everyone obeys recognized rules, if you need to go to the target, let the other shooters know

here is something I found about it being bow season

"
You may target practice with an identifiable backdrop on any State owned land that is not a State Park or posted "no shooting". Target shooting is not covered by conservation law and therefore there are no closed seasons or curfews for target practicing on State lands. What you may want to pay notice to are areas where there are hikers, campers, bikers or horseback riders--these folks may also use State lands.

I'm going to head up there this afternoon if you come out

I'll have at least 2 pistols, a Mini-14, an AR-15, and maybe an old Marlin 30-30 lever action(w/scope, lol)
