Ya know, I gotta laugh. I know there are some very fast diesels out there, I've seen them at the track. It seems like half the time I'm driving the Scat Pack, I get a challenge from one. I see the coal rolling and hear the turbo whistling and see them come flying up behind me. I gotta say, there has not been one that has come close. I'm sure the guy today went home and told his buddies he beat a scat pack, but as soon as I saw how easily I was leaving him in the dust, I got out of it. I did this three times even giving him the leave. This is NOT a challenge because I've only run 12.80 with my car (manual) and I know there are tons of diesels out there that can destroy me, it's just that I think these guys do a tune and finally get into the 14s and think they're practically a Hellcat. Cracks me up!

Well if that's all it is I'm OK with it. Last summer I had a 5.0 F-150 lay it down and when he caught up to me at the next light he gave me a thumbs up. I am not looking for these scenarios and literally 90% of them I ignore, but ya know, 100% control and rationality is difficult to achieve.
LOL! Yeah and they usually seem to be Fords.

Was this on 75 on the 6th at night? I ran into a Challenger running through traffic pretty quickly to I tagged along in my lifted diesel ram. Sure the car was SLIGHTLY faster, but for a lifted diesel on 35s running 12.90 while getting 23mpg and able to pull down a house in a heated leather seat with a heated steering wheel, thats ok by me. Plus my fast cars are at the house lol.
