Agreed. I have a couple diesels, and I'm always trying to be careful and NOT smoke people out. I hate that guys doing that type of nonsense make people look down upon me. I can't figure out why the people getting covered in soot seem to be cheering the guys in the trucks on.
Actually, it was part of a "loud exhaust" competition. Tons of cars were rolling up there and revving the shit out of their cars...bouncing off two steps and limiters. This guy just happened to have a diesel. I was standing one row back...this wasn't the first diesel truck that pulled up, and anyone standing there should have known what was coming.
