That is kick ass! I seen a yellow one yesterday too, had the thought that I hadn't seen one in probably 5-10 years. That's awesome man.

Are these high dollar car yet? Wikipedia says they made about 7,000. Seen a beat up looking grey one yesterday in Taylor...It was like a trashed out Delorean. :)
 
Growing up as a kid, my neighbor had a white one,
took me for a ride in it, first real muscle car, was hooked
for life!
 
Those are pretty cool - saw one here in Japan at a car show with some huge drag radials. What's the current street value of one of these?

What is your definition of high dollar? The last one I looked at was in a consignment warehouse in NC and they were asking about 70k.
 
Curious if the rare models are worth millions like an AC Cobra. There are some low production versions with widebody kits, etc. The one posted here looks like a rare one.
 
About 5 years ago that car was worth about 40 to 50K. Today it is worth around $125~$140K. The price has gone up quite a bit in the past few years.

Those were imported by Ford from 1970 until 1974. BUT, after Ford got out of the import business, they were produced by DeTomaso in Italy until the middle 2000's. Around 1985, they came out with the wide body (GT5s), but the car looked pretty much the same and most parts were still interchangeable. There was a re-design in 2000 and produced until the factory went under. All of the bodies were HAND BUILT after 1975. The sheet metal was sort of interchangeable, but had to be tweaked to fit. I had an 86 GT5s with an all aluminum fuel injected 410 CI engine.

There is a Japanese billionaire who is resurrecting the Pantera, but it is supposed to be pretty radical.
 
very nice. You would think the owner could afford a better/nicer trailer to haul a 6 figure car around!
