WOW...simply amazing. What were these cops thinking.....beating a man who didn't even move. Unless he was wielding a weapon on the chase or was known to be armed...but even at that it was still a bit over the top!

I'm much less concerned with this, than I am with police who abuse/assault/arrest/harass people who've done nothing wrong.
I agree that this beating was completely ridiculous, the guy was unconscious. The local PD did right and fired the officers (after the video surfaced, of course). They were also charged, but not convicted.
PS. Search for posts made by me. I've got about 100 threads started since my last one about police abuse/etc.
