Detroit man kills naked son with 'execution style' gunshot

One wonders what was going on in the head of Jamar Pinkney Senior yesterday when he marched his son out of his mother's house at gun point. We may never know the root cause for this senseless tragic crime.
Highland Park, Detroit- The police are tight-lipped about the crime, but the family has shared the events with Detroit media. Reports from Detroit say the 15 year old boy was rushed to hospital after being shot in the head, but he succumbed to his injury and died.
The boy's father is alleged to have killed his son with a shot to the head during an argument that turned abusive and violent. Police say the 37-year old man apparently shot his son then fled the scene. Relatives identified the boy as Jamar Pinkney Jr., and police are holding his father for the crime. While no-one quite knows exactly what happened, there was an apparent argument between father and son, which resulted in the father marching his son out to a field by their home. Jamar was naked. Jamar's father then shot the boy in the head and fled the scene.
It was a tragic scene, according to family members, with Jamar and his mother pleading with Jamar's father to not shoot the boy. Police are still investigating.
Jamar's aunt, Yolanda Cherry, told Fox 2

"My nephew was laying on the ground, but he was begging and pleading... no, daddy, don't do this. I was trying to make sure he stayed warm."

Jamar's grandfather said

"I didn't know he was that kind of a father that he would... come and kill his own blood. He's got to be sick."

The family claims that Jamar's father shot the youth in the back of the head.
Respondents to Fox 2 left comments stating feelings of rage and grief.
From news reports, it appears that Jamar PInkney Sr. was divorced from Jamar's mother.
The family said they cannot afford to bury Jamar.
Jamar attended George Washington Carver Academy in Highland Park, Detroit.
The tragedy has gripped Detroit, which has seen violent crime as well as property crimes increase over the years. Detroit has been named by Forbes as the most dangerous of America's cities.

What channel? If it does come out that he did something sexually with his little sister(assuming it was his sister), then I don't feel bad for him getting shot. Cause anyone that does anything perverted with an infant, toddler or any minor, should be shot. Having a 2 yr old daughter myself, I can justify the shooting.

Otherwise, if the dad shot him over something stupid, then that's a whole different situation.

channel 2 I think, only one I watch at home, though it might have been channel 7 that we watch at work
 
Yea a guy at work told me the boy raped or sexually abused the 3year old. Thus why he stripped him naked to embarrass him.



Tragic event. Shooting him and going to jail isnt fixing anything for that little girl.
 
I think I heard about this last week or something, makes ya sick...Hard to understand the minds of many people.

Man I dont understand what is wrong with people anymore?There is no value on human life what so ever!I dont care what my son did I could not kill him like that,its crazy what this world is coming to,If that Kid did molest a little girl then the odds are he was molested as a child as well he needed help not killed.
 
Sorry, some people can't be "fixed". No other way except to lock them up for ever ( Costing tax payers ) or take them out.

Im not debating that I guess my point was that I cant think of anyway I could do that to my son no matter what.

I'd bet in fit of rage like that you might be surprised what a human can do.

that a pretty angry guy to do something like this.
 
If it were up to me certain crimes would have no second chance, only a death penalty, and not the kind that gets dragged out for years. Some things aren't worth fixing... The world is too overpopulated to worry about fixing people like that. He knew what he was doing was wrong and chose to do it anyways (assuming all this was true).
