The caliber of the stuff in the basement has gotten better every year. I remember the first few years the opened the extreme part, the cars were horrible! I think the "rat rod" novelty has worn off a little and people's skills are improving.
 
Why is this the only forum where we can only see half of the pics ??

EDIT: i just made everything smaller and now i can see about 3/4 of the pics..

Thanks guys. It was a great show this year. The level of vehicle quality has gone up substantially over the last few years, especially in the basement (although, so has the cost for entry).

I was watching the Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge on Speed over the weekend. The silver first gen with the orange stripe and the blown 7.0L LS motor is Stielow's and he won that event with it!

1. I owned it

2. I put chrome 18"-20" 100 spokes on it (granted it wouldn't be as low, but it would be BAD ASS)

What was up with that SRX in the background? I have a plan for one of these and building a SRX-V with a N* top end out of a XLR-V or STS-V, head studs, intake, exhuast, tuning and pullies. I am hoping someone else has done something like that so it is less trial and error for me. lol
