detroit 187 who watched it?

wasnt as bad as it could of been. its like a detroit nypd blue lol. nice to see detroit on tv and they didnt make it look "that" bad. at least not yet lol. funny part is they are looking for a bullet casing on the side of the road and find another one but from the past lol, then make a joke about bullets in detroit.
 
it was okay... I will watch next week to see if it picks up some speed... funny part is that a bunch of it was filmed in atlanta...
 
Poorly acted, pretty weak story, decently filmed. It didn't go out of it's way to make Detroit look like a complete shithole, which was kind of them.
 
I thought they kinda forced the story and dropped too obvious of hints in the beginning. But the second half of the show was much better.

Considering how bad most pilots actually are, ill give it a couple more episodes to see how it develops. It couldve been alot worse IMO
 
Didn't think it was that great. I like watching CSI Miami and Vegas MUCH better. Plus they got hot chicks that usually show off tight pants and cleavage.

Agreed. Lead acter was overplayed. Everyone else was kinda cheesy. Camera work was terrable, i get they are trying to draw you in and look like it's being shot almost reality style, but really, calm down the twisting, super zoom and dumb camera angles. Seemed like they were trying to hard to make Detroit cops look like "regular Joe's" and easy going. IMO this show could easily fail quickly, although i don't want it to, it's cool to see Detroit on national TV.

The pilot was shot mainly in Atlanta, but they are doing most in Detroit now.
 
I didnt get the impression it was about detroit at all. Looked nothing like it and it looked like a tightly run operation where all the characters seemed to care about something. Not what i was expecting at all but Ill give it another watch.
