Dery done at 105.1

Heard about this Saturday and it's been announced by the station today, Dery and Sharp have been replaced on 105.1. Drive time will now be Lindsay Hunter (who I like alright) and Dave Shore (105.1 program director). I still stream 105.1 down here pretty often and I always liked Dery. I started listening to them in an effort to get away from the non-stop Lions talk on 97.1. Dery's show was great when the station first launched I thought, but it went downhill in a big way when they added Drew Sharp. I couldn't stand him.
I wish they could have just made the show Dery and Maz and got rid of Drew, but then again I don't really know what happened. Maybe Dery decided to leave on his own? Supposedly he was "pushed out" at 97.1.
Have any of you guys heard any more details (or rumors) about it up there?
 
Sharp sucks. Sad that Dery paid the price, but any move that gets rid of Drew Sharp is worth the collateral damage IMHO

FWIW... there was some drama around Sharp plagiarizing a story. The Free Press hasn't published anything from Sharp for a few months now, IIRC

Not a dan of Drew Sharp either. I liked Dery though, so that sucks.

The morning show with Maz, Maaaaaaaaaaarc and Sean is growing on me. Starting to like it a lot.
 
That sucks. I was wondering where he was today. Bummer. Guess it's Back to listening to SiriusXM sports full time now In the afternoons.

I never really listen to that, usually by the time I'm up and about Ryan and Rico are already on... I wish they would have just let Maz and Dery have the rush hour evening show... I like Maz's goofy ass lol
