I met him yesterday in auburn hills to make a trade on a trans, I was nice and drove the majority of the way as he came from Dearborn heights myself from bay city .
After he arrived an hour late, i inspected the trans and it seemed fine. he goes on to tell me how he had it built, put 1600 dollars in it, loved the trans, it went 10.20's in his car ect..
we traded and parted ways, after i return from the hour plus drive i log on here, and see a thread saying he just purchased a C4 from a member the day before. turns out it was the trans he just told me he had built, ran,ect.
the trans seems fine, but wont be able to tell until i get it in my car obv. If he would have told me where he got it in the first place i would not have minded at all, but for some reason he felt the need to lie to my face and make up stories. i would beware with any dealings with him in the future, as he is pretty shady and feels the need to make up stories.
 
I wish people would just be up front to begin with. If he's a good guy like Bigg says he really shouldn't have acted that way to a fellow member. I could possibly understand a complete stranger from Craigslist maybe, but not from this board.
 
He is a straight up guy are you sure it's the same trans he's got two mustangs I've known him for almost ten years dose not seem like him at all
 
i pm'd the guy he bought it from, parts in it are the same, and you can see the same wiring harness for the trans brake in the pic.
 
if u did a lil more research u will find out that it was my trans and i sold it to a member on here under my old s/n i was str8 up with u i dnt need to lie to get things man ask chris your self if u dont beleive the tranny ran 10.20 in a turbo car and theres nothing wrong with it so its w.e man and i was an hour late cause it took me an hour to get there so it was like meeting half way thx for being a lil girl about it and complaning on MM about it when u coulda called me and we coulda set things str8 but w.e man good luck with your car u wont be upset with the tranny
 
I do understand how you felt lied to but this sounds like it could have been handled better with a Pm or a phone call.

93notch408 - Bought it back, but then traded it the next day? (How do you know what happened to it when it was not in your posession?)

qtrmilemalone - was under the impression that 93notch408 was sole owner and user of said trans.

Thats what I gather.
