it would be nice if they optd the viper motor in the challenger or charger,,,then we would have a battle on our hands

Nah, the platform itself needs to change. Way too heavy...but that's being worked on too.
Better really late than never, I guess.
From what I've been told, it will be a supercharged V8...and supposedly they're getting some pretty good numbers from the combo they're working on now. They will definitely need to address the wheel hop/traction issues as well.
