Any ls1 guys wanna post a video of any car with ls motor it can even be 450+ cubes on nitro... I would love to see how fast ls guys are going.. It's winter and i'm board :wtg:

This car recently went 6.25 and it wasn't even a clean pass. The do have an aftermarket crank in it now.
 
cjmatt's 4.8 moves pretty good though, it will be interesting to see just how far you can take a one of those

I will once it warms back up...but it is funny that you guys wanted to run your minitubbed slick/skinnie car against a car running 17" cobras all around on street tires. I bent an axle at Milan MM rental and never got around to fixing it. Ill be good to go come spring...and my car is as much of a 4.8 as yours is cam only....maybe cam only LS7

If you want, I'll bring you a set of slicks for yours too. Kinda silly to run a 17" radial if all you're going to do is whine about another guy showing up at the track with the proper tires on the car. Sorry about the cam only thing, I forgot mine has pistons also. The only non GM parts in it are the pistons and the cam kit, and I will bet $$ on that if anyone wants to take me up on it :) To race a TURBO car with that is kinda crazy, but with the nitrous on I will try it.

I brought the tires with me because I didnt feel like driving 50 miles there on skinnies. Then it just became too much hassle to swap everything over, no biggie. Yeah its got a turbo, but I dont run hardly any boost. I make 30hp more now than the car made with the ported head ls1 in it, its just 100x more streetable...drove it to work monday actually

John's a badass. And he isn't afraid to speak his mind to people on yb.com which is my favorite thing about him! LOL he tore a couple guys up who were bashing his throttle bodies. His quote was something like, "this isn't burger king, you can't have it your way...and the customer isn't always right...fuck off." LOL!!!
