Crazy Overkill!

Both cars were exercises in excess, built to be over the top when compared to what else was being built at the time

Much like this

That car actually works and made 1400-1600hp. It was on Woodward a few years ago and the guy was REALLY cool to talk to. He even drove it a lot during the cruise. It had an 8:71 feeding a 6:71 and then the intercooler below the stack. Pretty neat considering many other cars build similarly had empty shells of superchargers and were only for looks. I have to respect that they made it actually function and work.

Here's a pic of the other vehicle this guy(Rick Dobbertin) made. The J2000(1986) is even more over the top than the Nova, and the Milk Tank was made to circumnavigate the earth, but that never happened.

ahh yes the j2000

the car that was built with no suspension, when people at the fairgrounds bitched about it not even having suspension, he put valve springs on the rear end to make it "legal"

Valve springs? LMFAO.

That is crazy! I'd like to see it in person though.

I got to see that GTO a few years ago on woodward. I never heard it run but I think its fully functional and makes 1200hp+.
