CPL renewal.

So I renewed mine November 16th (well before expiration) and they told me it would arrive in the mail around Jan 16. Hasn't showed yet in typical Wayne county fashion. My question is. What have you guys had the best luck doing in regards to figuring out what's going on. I would rather not drive downtown.

Just sit and wait is pretty much all you can do. I renewed mine in macomb took almost 3 months to get it but it did show up. Just keep the renewal paper on you.

i just did mine like 2 weeks ago (macomb) and it arrived today.

Took around 3 months for mine from Wayne county. Plus you have all the holidays in the mix so I'm sure that's not helping.

When I got mine back in 2010-11. It took 6 months, a trip to Detroit and some convincing of the clerks to give it to me there instead of mail it and take another month or more.

Took me 5 weeks to get mine in Wayne county...... turned my paper work in DEC 5th 2015

Update: I Went to the county clerk and they printed my license on the spot. TLDR: anyone who applied in the first two weeks of November wont receive theirs in the mail.

The OP states that if it was filed between the 1st and 15th. It won't be mailed. I applied on the 16th... Lol. Regardless. I think I'm gonna go downtown and see what's up.

Oakland County, I renewed mine on Jan. 6th and it arrived in the mail today. That's less than a month for those with a challenged by calendars or math....
