Time to renew, and the application mentions 3 hours additional training and 1 hour range time. Is this really required?

The applicant shall sign the statement on the application certifying that he or she has completed at least three hours of review of the required training and has had at least one hour of firing range time in the six months immediately preceding the renewal application.

You're basically signing that you've read up on the updates to the laws etc. Spend some time on the MSP site and some range time and you're good.. All on the honor system..

Mine as well.
I frequent the shop that I did the seminar at.
They offer to take the legal side of the class for an update, this is what you could use as your 3 hours.

Up to you though really. I am going to take the half class just to ease my mind and refresh memory.
