Cost of full exhaust?

I've been approved for a new mustang, however, i think i'll wait for the 5.0.
My question is, what does full exhaust run from a shop, long tubes and everything? need to know how much to save up so i can just drive from the dealer to the shop.

Depends.. mild steel headers or stainless? Coated? There are too many variables to consider.. I would say save up $2500 to pay for all the parts and installation then hope you have a few bucks left over for other things when you're done with the exhaust.

to achieve that sound, are long tubes necessary? i know the vid doesnt mention long tubes but do they compound the sound intensity?

There is a guy running around Windsor with a Black 04-ish GT with the cats deleted, stock manifolds, 2.5" pipe, and 40 series flows, and some type of chrome tip. Does that car ever sound badass. As far as I could tell, nothing else done to it, but it sounded real healthy.

I can't remember if it had a crossover/H-pipe/X-pipe or anything in it. It was a real nice sounding machine, for what appeared to be a stock vehicle.

well i need to keep the cats on in case something goes wrong, i dont need to hear the dealer explaining to me that my syncrhos are shot because the cats arent present in the car. that and i think these new mustangs have a black box in them, so its not like i can just bolt up the old system and take it back to the dealer if something goes wrong
