Corvettes messing with the BMWs at Grattan

Of course. This just happens to be the most experienced group. Newbies are welcome anytime. We have 4 run groups that range from newbies to experienced racers. For the new people we offer a "classroom" session plus on-track instruction.

That's pretty cool, I've always wanted to try. I just don't have a car that turns right and left at speed

I miss me GTO.... I went through a few sets of tires out at Grattan.

Guess on lap times is in the low 1:30's. 29's in a stockish C5 is running pretty good.

What kind of lap times were you guys running (you and the yellow Zed)?

That's me in the yellow car. We were running 1:32s or so in that session. Without traffic my best laps of the weekend were 1:30.0x.

The TTA (basically "stock" C5 Z06 on Hoosiers) track record is around 1:27.0. I have more power than stock but I'm on unshaved R888s.

After this past weekend, I don't miss mine at all. ;)

I bet you don't. But going from a slower track car to no track car kinda stinks.. Makes me want to change direction on the 79 so that it turns and stops. I might need to start shopping for 17" wheels to get some decent rotors inside them.

1:30.0x is damn good. My buddy has run there a ton and his best is 1:26.20 in a 408 powered foxbody (street/open track car). Thanks for sharing the vid.
