Corvette IRS record

Damn that one member on LS1tech makes it sound easy to build a c-4 to go in the 8's. I hardly believe it really is that easy though.

the chassis is key It can handle as much horse power as you can throw at it. The problem with the dana 44 is when you get into the 1.5 60ft times. then the rear becomes questionable.

Paul newman creations makes their own D44 pig thats much stronger than stock (thats what hes running) along with some denneys nitrous ready halfshafts.

But the cars have an awesome chassis than can be made extreemly light (lots of carbon fiber panels are avalable for realitivly few bucks.)

OH! and the room that you have to work on stuff is awesome (just ask bad dad LOL.)

This yellow vette is not a ls1 car. I think this guy is full of shit. I saw this car in person 4 years ago in Canada. It’s a 406sbc with a t76 turbo. lthomer knows the owner of that car, they have a shop in canada. The car had a stock Dana 44 case with stock 1986 half shafts with 300m outer spindles. The car didnt even have a spool. The only reason the Dana 44 lived in this car is because it only 60fts 1.5s . This car is no longer a dana 44 car and its no longer yellow. Its red with a 9 inch. :icon_mrgr
