I'd 2nd the Eastern Market idea, though I would argue time of day (light) is most important. Go early when the sun comes up or an hour or so before it sets and it'll be all good.

A curbside photo during fall colors in front of the Horace Dodge (?) house in Indian Village would be a good shot. 1723 Iriquois St. Same idea, but John Dodge house in Boston-Edison 75 E. Boston Blvd. Also, the cobblestone block of W. Canfield St. between 3rd & 2nd St near Shinola.

The building in Bricktown/Greenktown where Niki's is located (or Bouzouki if you're more familiar with that landmark) was the location of the Dodge Bros machine shop where they started the car business.

Not sure if the factory where your car was built is in Detroit, or still standing, but if it is. . .

Belle Isle, of course.

It'd be more work, but I think candid "ordinary day" type pics with you dressed in period clothing would be fun. Something like, park in front of Layfayette Coney, grab a window seat, and read a paper while enjoying a coney platter & Faygo. Stage changing a tire in front of a landmark, or something like that. Bring together the places and activities the original owner of the car might have visited.

Also, consider different angles/perspectives of the car. Sit in the backseat, place the camera where your head would be if you were driving, and capture a pic of the world from the inside out.

Digital pics are cheap. Play around, have fun, get creative.

Might look good in front of a freshly cut bright yellow field of straw. Old barns? Mills? Rick houses.
